Water sports

Water sports enthusiasts get their money's worth here. Clubs based on the southern shore regularly organise exciting regattas and offer taster courses for canoeing, sailing and stand-up paddling. If you want, you can hire a SUP board directly on site and get active yourself.

Possible lake closures

Please note that there may occasionally be closures in the water sports area at the Allersee due to events. However, the swimming area will remain accessible to all visitors.
The dates of the lake closures will be announced here on the website in good time so that your visit can be planned accordingly.

Safety and water quality

The water quality of the Allersee meets the high EU standards and is regularly checked. Current water temperatures can be called up via the Wolfsburg app. At weekends from May to October, the Allersee is monitored by the DLRG - a safe bathing experience that was awarded the title of ‘guarded beach’ in 2009.
