In the heart of the city, near the Volkswagen Arena, lies the harbour of the 1st Motorboat Club Wolfsburg e.V. on the Mittelland Canal. With over 50 berths, the club welcomes many visitors every year, who can start their exploratory tour of the Allerpark and other sights from here.
The 1st Motorbootclub Wolfsburg e.V. was founded in 1970 and is at home on the south side of the Allerpark. As a recognised training centre of the German Motor Yacht Association (Deutscher Motoryachtverband, ADAC), the club offers all water sports enthusiasts and those who would like to become one, various courses to obtain sports boat licences and radio certificates.
