DISC GOLF - FUN FOR ALL GENERATIONS

A steady hand, skill and accuracy - recreational athletes from all over the region can put all this to the test on the disc golf course in Allerpark. It starts right next to the Colombian Pavilion and runs along the Ritz-Carlton Allee to the north-east of Lake Allersee.

The disc golf course is designed as a circular course. Each of the 18 holes consists of a launch point, natural obstacles such as trees or hills and a chain basket. The length of the courses is between 35 and 105 metres, depending on the level of difficulty.

The course can be used free of charge and without prior registration. Disc golf discs can be hired for a deposit from the Kolumbianischer Pavillon, the campsite or the Courtyard Hotel. Together with the disc you will receive a scorecard with a course map. The ideal group size for playing is six people.

Disc golf is becoming increasingly popular in the south-east Lower Saxony region. Similar to a classic golf ball, players have to cover the distance between the launch point and the target in as few attempts as possible. After each throw, the game continues from the spot where the previously thrown disc came to rest. Each course is marked with a so-called par, i.e. a predetermined number of throws. The throws required for the course are then added together to give a total score. The winner is the player who needs the fewest throws to complete the course.
