Skateboarding is artistry, daring movement and a real high-performance sport. To practise it, you need space, obstacles and a smooth surface. No problem: all this is available in the Allerpark, north of the Arenasee. Since 2015, skaters from Wolfsburg and the region have had one of the most modern facilities in northern Germany at their disposal. It covers an area of 2,000 square metres and consists of flat and rising riding areas with different levels of difficulty as well as obstacles such as railings, steps and a hydrant for extra fun.
There are benches at the sides of the facility that offer spectators the best view of the skaters or give active skaters the opportunity to take a break and catch their breath.
If you don't want to try your hand at the skate sculpture but would rather just ride, you can do so on the circuits around the Allersee and Arenasee lakes. Behind the BadeLand, there is also a 30-metre-long wave track that provides variety and fun.
