Covering an area of 29 hectares, the Allersee is an interesting predatory fishing water with a good population of pike, zander, perch and eel, large specimens of which are caught here every year. Many peaceful anglers also pursue the numerous carp and whitefish.
The special nature experience of fishing attracts many anglers to the Allerpark. Here you can enjoy your time in the quieter spots and devote yourself entirely to fishing. Father and son also enjoy a trip to the Allersee together. However, fishing is only permitted with a valid fishing licence.
The Wolfsburg Sport Fishing Club is located on the southern shore of the lake. It was founded in 1940 and offers opportunities to get a taste of sport fishing through numerous events.
A particular highlight is the annual fishing festival, where visitors can enjoy freshly smoked fish and other culinary delights. There is also fun for children with bouncy castles and games.
