Centrally located and only a ten-minute walk from the city centre, the WakePark Wolfsburg is perhaps the most beautiful water ski centre in Germany. At 568 metres in length, it is the only six-mast facility on a perfect artificial lake in Europe. The towing conditions and angles have been optimised for wakeboarding. Thanks to its six masts, the facility is very tight and ideal for jumps and tricks. Due to the moderate lap length and obtuse angles (hexagonal instead of pentagonal), the cableway is also ideal for beginners and children. An island prevents the formation of waves, to ensure that the water’s surface stays smooth.
The water depth of 1.20 m (1.80 m in the starting area) offers sufficient protection in the event of falls and unsuccessful jumps. That means that you can stand comfortably anywhere in the lake and reach the shore without needing to swim. Another plus point is that the water warms up quickly and has a pleasant temperature as early as spring.
